Technical Assistance for Revenue Administration and Revenue Policy - Peru

Assistance to Superintendencia Nacional de Aduanas y de Administracin Tributaria (SUNAT) will develop the functions of its Office of Ethical Strengthening and Fight against Corruption (OFELCCOR) and improve its capacity for internal audit and investigations, with the aim of rooting out corruption in revenue administration. The engagement emphasizes anticorruption measures involving expertise in inspector general functions. Specific corruption deterrent measures include training investigators and auditors in handling internal controls, and auditing IT systems security of confidential taxpayer information in order to provide recommendations for system upgrades.
