Study visit

SCPI is the central executive body implementing the management and privatization of the state property, attraction of investments into this sector, rehabilitation and restructuring of state enterprises before privatization and supporting their operation after privatization, state registry in the field of registration of real estate and property rights, maintaining the unified cadastre of real estate and address registry, state land cadastre, soil management, organization of land market and state land registry in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It attaches great importance to the expansion of relations with international and regional organizations, as well relevant government bodies and private companies of foreign countries for more efficient and transparent implementation of its tasks. Considering the rapid development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Italian Republic, and advanced experience of Italy in the real estate registration and cadastre, SCPI submitted to the Agency a request for a study visit in this field. The first day of the visit, held at the Sub-General Directorate for Land Issues, included presentations on the Organizational structure and mission of the Agency, the Italian cadastral system, the Real estate rights and mortgages registration system, the Real estate market monitoring system. The second day, held at the Provincial Office of Rome, was spent visiting the counters and the back-offices providing the cadastral and land registration services for the town and the province of Rome, making it possible for the delegation to see the operational carrying out of what had been presented to it the day before.
