Technical Conference The Tax Administration's Examination Function

CIAT (Inter.American Center of Tax Administration) is a public, non.profit international organization established in 1967, with the mission of providing an integral service for the modernization, strengthening and technical development of the Tax Administrations of its member countries. The Technical Conference, hosted by one of the observer countries, is a major event annually organized by CIAT to promote cooperation between member countries' administrations through the exchange of ideas and experiences and to develop the debate on international taxation issues. This Conference which gathered delegations from 40 Countries (17 of which led by the Directors of their national Tax Administrations), 15 International Organizations (such as the OECD, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the World Custom Organization), and highly qualified representatives of national institutions.
