OTHER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia and the Italian Revenue Agency of the Republic of Italy have agreed upon two cooperation projects for technical support in tax field in particular on the matters of transfer pricing aggressive tax planning and tax fraud within the framework of OECD UNDP Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) initiative. The cooperation projects are intended for a period of time of 18 months starting from the signing of the Memorandum of understanding that took place in Yerevan on 21 May 2019. The Italian experts worked closely with Armenian tax officials on current audit cases to transfer knowledge best practices and skills. The month of December 2021 saw the conclusion of the TIWB project CI TC2019 0002 on tax crime. On September 2022 also the project on transfer pricing saw the conclusion.
