Technical Assistance for Revenue Administration and Revenue Policy - Colombia

The purpose of this project is to assist the National Directorate of Taxes and Customs of Colombia with adopting cooperative compliance approaches to manage risks of inaccurate reporting, through the development of an Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) program. The APA program will aim to resolve legal issues cooperatively with taxpayers before potentially taxable transactions occur. The National Directorates auditors, economists, and lawyers will be trained to analyze APA applications and to negotiate agreements. The project will also train the National Directorates staff to respond to queries from taxpayers related to the APA process.
