International Tax Conference

The Government has in its 10-point program against tax evasion announced that Sweden should offer to host an International Conference on capacity building in the area of taxation in 2018. Sweden's initiative should be seen as complementary to the initiatives of international organisations to bring the needs of the developing countries more clearly illuminated and to see what the developed countries can provide in collaboration with each other and with international organizations. The Conference will address issues relating to how the developed countries' efforts can be coordinated and integrated in a better way in order to increase the impact of individual countries ' efforts. Sida has been mandated take responsibility for the financing and implementation of the arrangement
